Alois is an electrical engineer specializing in hardware and system integration. Alois works for EED’s subsidiary KAIOTE LTD where he is involved in the design of hardware/software strategies to digitally characterize exposure to household air pollution from cooking technologies in low-income households, as well as the creation of sensing technologies that span energy and water. He has previously worked at cryptocurrency firm Bitsoko limited, pushing the limits of hardware and it’s integration to ethereum. He is a member of the International Development Innovation Network(IDIN) and holds a BSc degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Nairobi (Kenya).
