Our Focus Areas

We bring extensive experience in the energy, water and climate change policy and legal framework review across different countries in Sub-Saharan Africa. We assess policy landscapes and provide sectoral guidance such as carrying out rural off-grid energy strategy developments, facilitating the development and publication of electricity sector investment plans and preparation of  advocacy notes.

At the national level, we have developed an advocacy note for mini-grids sector in Kenya, geothermal development prospectus and Kenya’s Electricity Sector Investment Prospectus. At the sub-national level, we have developed the first energy sector plan for Turkana county, a rural off-grid energy strategy development and sector guidance for 9 underserved counties, among others.
