Kenya National Multi-Tier Framework (MTF) Energy Access Survey

Implementing the World Bank Multi-Tier Framework (MTF) Household Energy Survey in Kenya to assess the state of energy access. A total of 6,025 households, including an oversampling of households in low income areas, and 1,110 institutions (schools, health centres and public offices) were interviewed across the 47 counties. Led by ESMAP-World Bank and SE4ALL, the survey provides a baseline for measuring progress towards the universal energy access goal under SDG #7.
